What a blessing yesterday at Church, Pastor delivered a powerful message :) that really spoke to me ~right where I am at today and gave me confirmation! That is what I am thankful for today, My Pastors! They are awesome and I am so thankful to be in a Church that delivers the grace message :) I love the family of God and the Church that the Lord has blessed my life with..

Today I decided to start a new 30 day of Thanks~this was originally meant for November but, I think its important to learn to be thankful everyday of our lives for something. The bible tells us
"In Everything Give Thanks" Today I am thankful for my friends and building new and lasting friendships, I am Thankful for all my friends that bring me encouragement and are there for me during the hard times, that encourage and lift me up and that can bring me understand through hard things. Its been a while since I have posted so I thought I would update..things have been going well, been busy with school and just keeping the house up, my daughter Lindsey is in Phoenix for a Movement Conference and has really been having a awesome time..Poor thing still had a bad head cold when they left and so when she got there her ears were really plugged..anyway she is doing better now..I have been busy working on blankets blankets blankets lol..I think I have 3 started ..waiting on payday to get the yarn online for my daughters blanket (its going to be so pretty) it is really bright colors. Then I have one in progress for my Pastors and then a few baby blankets..
Anyway that is what I have been up to and then keeping up with activities in Church.

This is my first try at making a scarf using a loom~I still have a little work to do with it and then I am finished..It went pretty fast and was fun.
This blanket I have been working on for a new mom in our Church, I haven't knitted for a very long time so at first it was frustrating as I kept dropping stitches but, I kept pressing forward and now I am almost finished with the blanket, I have only 2 more rows of colors to do. I really like how this blanket has turned out and I am praying the new Mom will like it too. For some reason though I did notice a black streak at the beginning of the blanket and I am not sure what caused that, I am going to hand wash it when I am finished and hope that it will come out.
My next project is a blanket for my daughter as she has been very patient waiting for it.
This blanket I have been working on for about 6 months, I made it for my very dear friend Shirely-she has been such a wonderful friend, always encouraging and lifting me up in the Lord..She means alot to me and I wanted to bless her with this blanket.
I love you Shirley, Thank You for always being there for me~You are truly a blessing to my life.
