Family Wedding/Reunion

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Tyson and Katherine's wedding and having a family reunion. My brother and sister in law rented a condo for my sister and I and our families and the kids had a blast as their was a pool right across from the Condo as well as a nice play area..
It was nice to visit with family that I haven't seen in a very long time.
After the wedding we went on a cruise for the reception and it was very beautiful...
I took this picture from the Yacht~it turned out
to be a beautiful evening celebrating Tyson and Katherine's marriage.

It was a blessing to see all of our family and to be together again.

FOR TODAY (August 24~2009)...
Outside my window...Its a beautiful Sunny day but not as warm as previous days (PTL) I love the blue skies and our big tree in our backyard.
I am thinking...about all the things I need to do to get ready for our weekend away.
I am thankful for...Gods Provisions and that my Husband got called back to work this coming Monday.
From the learning rooms...working on getting organized and ready for this coming school year.
From the kitchen...its a mess (LOL)
I am wearing...grey shorts and a white tank top
I am creating...at this time I have been knitting dish cloths.
I am going...to get my hair highlighted today and then to Costco
I am reading...A Woman after Gods Own Heart and New Day New You Devotional by Joyce Meyers
I am hoping...for the Lord to supply the funds for my oldest to attend "The Movement" at our Church This Fall.
I am hearing...the kids laughing at the Scooby Doo Cartoon they are watching.
Around the house...lots of laundry and cleaning and packing for the weekend.
One of my favorite things...is sitting and knitting or crocheting while watching one of my favorite tv shows
A few plans for the rest of the week:Packing for our trip, preparing for school for the coming year, finishing the book a woman after Gods own Heart by Elizbeth George

Nature Fun

We are really excited, our cockateil Lily that we have had for about 6 years laid another egg for the 2nd time, her first wasn't fertilized..

Her first egg she laid on July 14th and the 2nd egg she laid today July 16th~were hoping we will get a couple babies but, we will see..Maybe they will get it one of these days..

New Look

I am excited to have a new look, I haven't blogged for awhile and wanted to get back into blogging.
Things have been busy this summer and the kids have been keeping me on my toes, we have been very blessed with a wonderful Church Family and we just love it! Everytime we attend a service its like we know that God is confirming to us over and over we are right where he wants us..We are thrilled with what the Lord is doing in us, our children and our Family..
I have the kids all set up with a new school for next year, I will still be teaching at Home, we are just using something different this next year.
Next month we have a family wedding and hopefully I will get to go visit a good friend of mine.
Our oldest daughter Lindsey is gearing up for a school called "The Movement" through our Church and that starts in October, and Courtney is getting excited about going on a Mission trip with our Pastors to Kenya.
Thats about it for now..
